A few days ago, during my personal reading time, I reflected on a verse that often perplexes me, Matthew 11:12. It’s been perplexing to me because of how I have seen it interpreted and applied in the past by some people as an endorsement for being aggressive in the way we live our faith out with our neighbors. Looking at the overall context of Jesus’ life and ministry, though, it seems that Jesus may have been doing the exact opposite when He spoke these words.
By the way, I have changed the name of these live videos because the nature of my schedule makes it difficult to only do them on weekends. So, I’m not going to define them according to the calendar.
